Description:

Spokeo, Inc. v. Robins– “Ten Months Later, Where Do We Stand on Standing?”

Your Privacy & Technology Section cordially invites you to attend a one-hour panel discussion exploring the practical impact of the Supreme Court’s May 2016 decision in Spokeo, Inc. v. Robins. The panel will highlight the claims and subject matter where the ruling has (and has not) affected litigation strategy regarding Article III standing, the issues on which the lower courts remain divided, and the evolution of “informational injury” under a variety of consumer rights and privacy statutes. Don’t miss this informative and valuable presentation covering areas of interest for any practitioner of consumer rights, class action or privacy-related issues. One hour of general CLE credit will be applied for.

Immediately following the presentation, we will walk across the street to RiRa for a happy hour sponsored by your Privacy & Technology Section. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn, network and get to know your fellow Section members.
